Alameda County Family Law Bench
As Judge Thomas Nixon digs in as Supervising Judge for the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda’s Family Law, several changes are coming down the pipeline.
In mid-November, Commissioner Toni Mims-Cochran will be taking over for Commissioner Mary Alexander, who is retiring, and Judge Jennifer Madden will be coming in to Department 522.
ACBA member and VLSC rockstar volunteer Nikki Clark will be the new Court Commissioner. Nikki is a long-term family law volunteer who was instrumental in growing our FLDOC program. She was named VLSC Mentor of the Year in 2010, and is a tireless supporter of access to justice.
