2026 ACBA Board of Directors Nominations

The ACBA Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping our programs, advocacy, and support for Alameda County’s legal community.

The Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA) is proud to announce the nominations for the 2026 ACBA Board of Directors, the leadership team that will help guide our work in supporting attorneys, promoting access to justice, and serving the Alameda County legal community.

Executive Officers for 2026:

Janice Cho, President

Mario Choi, President-Elect

New Directors for 2026:

Rob Schwartz, Director

Christina Lum, Director

How to Submit Additional Nominations:

In accordance with ACBA bylaws, additional nominations may be made for the offices of President-Elect or Vice-President or for the position of Director. Interested individuals must be active members and submit their personally signed nomination and petition, with the signatures of at least 35 active members in good standing. ACBA members may only sign one petition in an election year.

Completed nominations should be sent to:

ACBA Director of Communications and Marketing Valerie Lescroart at 548 Market Street, PMB 22692 San Francisco, CA 94104-5401 or valerie@acbanet.org by 5:00 p.m. on September 26, 2025. Please submit a resume and a completed ACBA Board application.

A report of any such additional nomination, or nominations, will be posted on the our website, posted in an email to Members, and included in the our electronic newsletter within five business days following the additional nominations deadline. In the event of no additional nominations, the nominees proposed by the Nominating Committee and approved by the Board shall be declared elected without ballot.
