The Alameda County Bar Association invites you to the 2026 Installation & Distinguished Service Awards Dinner on January 22, 2026, at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. This annual event brings our legal community together to celebrate excellence, welcome new leadership, and honor those who go above and beyond in service to Alameda County.

This year’s celebration promises to be especially memorable.

Keynote Speaker: Dean Erwin Chemerinsky

We are honored to welcome Erwin Chemerinsky, Dean of UC Berkeley School of Law, as our keynote speaker. Dean Chemerinsky is widely recognized as one of the nation’s foremost constitutional law scholars. He is the author of 19 books, has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court, and in 2024 was named the most influential person in legal education by National Jurist.
