Updates to MCLE Compliance Deadlines

The State Bar has announced changes to Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) compliance deadlines for certain groups. Here’s what you need to know:

• Attorneys with last names A-G: Your compliance cycle has been extended to a 38-month period ending on March 29, 2025, with a reporting deadline of March 30, 2025.
• Compliance Groups 2 and 3: Your compliance cycles have also been extended to a 38-month period, ending on March 29, 2026, or March 29, 2027, depending on your group. The reporting deadline remains March 30 of your respective year.

After this one-time extension, all groups will return to the standard 36-month compliance cycle, beginning March 30 of your group’s respective year and ending 36 months later.
