ACBA members in the news: Members featured in the ACBA e-Newsletter featuring John Douglas Moore, Mari Boweie, and Judge Brenda Harbin-Forte

ACBA member and BALI mentor John Douglas Moore was recertified by the National  Board of Trial Advocacy as board certified in civil trial law, which is recognized by the California State Bar. John has been certified since 2017 and believes he is one of only six attorneys in Alameda County so certified.

ACBA member Mari Bowie, The Nieves Law Firm, APC., was recently featured in a New York Times article. The article, ‘Friending Bias’, breaks down a recent study that offers insight into how lower-income children can climb the economic ladder. Read more
