7.18.22: The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that it has begun the process of transitioning all remote proceedings to Zoom. The transition follows the 2021 decision of the Judicial Council of California to fund Zoom licenses for all superior courts through Fiscal Year 2023-24. Read more

7.20.221: Due to a water main break in downtown Oakland, the Rene C. Davidson courthouse is closed for business on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

Restraining Orders and Civil Filings that must be processed today, should be taken to the Hayward Hall of Justice located at 24405 Amador Street, Hayward or George E. McDonald Hall of Justice, 2233 Shoreline Drive, Alameda.

Civil and Criminal Filings that do not need to be processed today, may be placed in the drop box located at the weapons screening station on the 1st floor of the County Administration Building at 1221 Oak Street, Oakland.

Criminal cases will be heard as follows:

Dept. 11 will be heard in Dept. 103

Dept. 8 will be heard in Dept. 106

Dept. 13 will be heard in Dept. 109

Depts. 103, 106 and 109 are located at the Wiley Manuel Courthouse, 661 Washington Street, Oakland.
