FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Friday, July 16, 2021: The Superior Court of Alameda County announced today that is reinstating mandatory face covering requirements effective Monday, July 19, 2021.

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA: Superior Court of Alameda County reinstates mandatory face covering requirements effective Monday, July 19, 2021.

Consistent with the July 16, 2021, recommendation of the Alameda County Public Health Officer, the Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that, effective Monday, July 19, 2021, all persons entering any court facility will be required to properly wear a face covering over their nose and mouth, regardless of their vaccination status.

The Court will continue to monitor guidance from the Alameda County Public Health Department and will update its policies as appropriate. Please continue to check our website and follow @AlamedaSuperior on Twitter for the most current information.
