FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Friday, October 2, 2020: The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that, despite being generally closed to the public except for limited public records searches, the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse (RCD), located at 1225 Fallon Street in Oakland, will be open for in-person voting beginning Monday, October 5, 2020.  Details here.

09/16/20 – U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California – New General Orders regarding Coronavirus Disease Public Health Emergency. Today, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California posted General Order 72-6, IN RE: Coronavirus Disease Public Health Emergency, and General Order 74, Temporary Use of Teleconferencing, Videoconferencing, and Other Procedures in Criminal Matters Pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES ACT”), both adopted September 16, 2020.
