Updates from Local Superior Courts Week May 11th – May 15th

We’ve compiled updates from our local Superior Courts in one post. We’ll update this post as more information comes in this week.

5.11.20: Contra Costa Superior Court

The Contra Costa Superior Court has issued new emergency local rules for its Complex Civil department, effective today.  These and all other emergency rules are available here:  http://www.cc-courts.org/local-rules/local-rules.aspx.

5.13.20: Contra Costa Superior Court

The Contra Costa Superior Court will reopen to the public on May 26, 2020.  Please see the press release for further information on the reopening, requirements for entry to Court facilities, and specific operations and case types.

5.15.20: The Superior Court of Alameda County

The Superior Court of Alameda County announced that on Monday May 18th they will resume accepting reservations for and setting remote hearings on motions, and has amended probate emergency rules to clarify that certain proceedings may be handled via remote technology. Details here.
