Alameda County Superior Court Files Suit Against Alameda County to Get More Sheriff’s Deputies

The Superior Court of California, County of Alameda has filed suit against Alameda County citing fewer and fewer Sheriff’s Deputies being assigned to the Court, causing courtroom closures. The Superior Court says this is a failure on the part of the County to keep their promise to provide a certain number of deputies, a promise not contingent on the sufficiency of State funding.
