Remembering Jeff Adachi

The legal community is still whirling from the death of SF Public Defender Jeff Adachi last week. The voiceless and accused have lost a champion and advocate. We will remember him for his tenacious work on progressive criminal justice reform and his dedication to public service.

The Alameda County Bar Association is deeply saddened by his passing and sends our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

The National Association of Defense Lawyers and the San Francisco Chronicle wrote beautiful tributes to Jeff Adachi’s life and legacy.
