ACBA member Alameda County DA Nancy O’Malley is part of a working group drafting model penal code for how to deal with campus sexual assault. ACBA Member Phillip R. Weltin, Weltin Streb & Weltin, LLP, got a jury verdict of $3.7 million for his client that was struck by a San Francisco Bay Ferry. Plaintiffs contended that the ferry was negligent in its operation and its policies and that the captain was on his cell phone shortly before the collision. Read More
