Have you heard what people are saying about Dine Around for Justice?
“By supporting Dine Around, I not only support the good pro bono work of VLSC, but I also support our local businesses.  That’s a Win-Win.” – Jonathan Wong, Donahue Fitzgerald, LLP

“I am excited every year about Dine Around for Justice. I get the opportunity to do all of my favorite things in one night: eat great food, with great friends and support a great organization!!!” –Sally J. Elkington, Elkington Law

Dine Around for Justice is back Thursdays this August. During Dine Around, the restaurants listed below generously agree to donate 15% of one evening’s revenue to support VLSC and access to pro bono legal services. Dine Around for Justice is a fun and easy way for lawyers, judges, and other members of the legal community to support free legal services.  Make a reservation at one of the restaurants below, enjoy an amazing meal, and help provide access to justice in our community!

“I really love Dine Around for Justice because it allows non-lawyers, like the restaurateurs, to participate in the great work that VLSC does. Dine Around also allows the lawyers to participate in a different way – by eating – which happens to be one of my favorite alternate participation modalities!” –Summer L. Nastich, Morris, Polich & Purdy LLP

To participate, make a reservation or just drop in and dine at one of these restaurants:

August 7:  Lungomare 510 444-7171 | 1 Broadway, Oakland

August 14:  Bay Wolf 510 655-6004 | 3853 Piedmont Ave, Oakland

August 21:  Bocanova 510 444-1233 | 55 Webster Street, Oakland

August 28:  Doña Tomás 510 450-0522 | 5004 Telegraph Ave, Oakland

Your support helps VLSC match trained volunteer attorneys with low-income people in need of critical legal services—services that help them keep their families together, regain financial stability, and feel safe in their own homes. We look forward to seeing you there.

“You can support VLSC by doing one simple, enjoyable thing.  No-you don’t have to donate dollars (although that would be greatly appreciated.)   All you have to do is get together with a few friends for dinner at Lungomare, Bocanova, Bay Wolf or Dona Thomas.  You’ll enjoy a great meal and VLSC will benefit from a portion of the proceeds. It’s that simple.  Go on, pick up the phone and make a reservation.  VLSC thanks you for helping them bridge the gap in access to justice in Alameda County.” –Nikki Clark, Law Office of Nikki Clark
