The Volunteer Legal Services Corporation (VLSC) created the Guardians of Justice campaign so that large firms, small firms, local businesses, solo practitioners, and individuals can help VLSC bridge the justice gap in our community. To join Guardians of Justice, we ask that you make a commitment to support VLSC on an annual basis.

By becoming a Guardian of Justice, you will be leading the effort to close the justice gap in our community by helping VLSC to:

  • Sustain and enhance our current programs, including 42 pro per assistance clinics a month in the areas of family law, domestic violence, bankruptcy, guardianship, and landlord-tenant disputes.
  • Provide training, mentoring and malpractice insurance to our dedicated volunteer attorneys, paralegals, and law school graduates.
  • Develop additional programs to meet the existing and growing need for legal services in Alameda County.

In turn, as a Guardian of Justice, your firm will receive many benefits including but not limited to:

  • Your firm’s logo on the ACBA website, in A Year in Review annual magazine,  and in the biannual VLSC newsletter.
  • Ads in the ACBA biweekly e-newsletter.
  • Invitation to VIP Reception at Justice for All.
  • Verbal recognition at Justice for All event.
  • Inclusion in all Justice for All marketing materials and in the program.
  • Recognition at the VLSC Donor Reception.
