Volunteers Sought for International H.S. Mock Trial Program
Hosted on November 22-24 at the S.F. Federal Court - Bishop O'Dowd Represents Alameda County
Empire Mock Trial (a 501(c)(3) education nonprofit) is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for its inaugural “Empire San Francisco – A New Beginning” program. The program will bring together a diverse group of 300 motivated high school students hailing from four countries (Canada, Korea, the U.K., the U.S.) and 9 states, including Alameda's Bishop O'Dowd High School and San Francisco's Lowell High School. By offering these young men and women the opportunity to participate in four trials and engage in a number of exciting social events, the organizations hope to create an educational experience that the participants will never forget.
Attorney are asked to judge a minimum of one trial, which is approximately three hours. For more information about judging and to sign up, please click here.
