The Lawyers in the Library Program is a countywide service coordinated by the Alameda County Law Library and staffed by volunteer attorneys. Volunteers provide short consultations and referrals on a wide variety of issues including landlord tenant disputes, probate matters, employment problems, and other general consumer issues. These consultations take place at public libraries each the month.
 
Attorney volunteers are urgently needed for the following vacant sessions:

Lakeview Library – 2nd Tuesday / month- 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Montclair Library – 2nd Tuesday / month- 6:00 – 8:00 pm
West Berkeley Branch – 2nd Friday / month- 10:00 – 11:30 am
San Lorenzo Library – 2nd Tuesday / month- 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Hayward Public Library – 2nd Tuesday / month- 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Hayward Public Library- Weekes Branch – 3rd Wednesday / month- 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and 4th Saturday / month- noon – 2:00 pm
