Bliss Lawyers – Telecommuting Part-Time Startup Attorney (Law Firm, Temporary): Bliss Lawyers is seeking a start-up attorney to work for an entrepreneurial law firm with offices in New York and south Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience at a large law firm as an attorney supporting start-ups. The candidate will be expected to prepare and negotiate term sheets, handle convertible note financings, review formation documents, prepare equity issuance documents, manage capitalization tables, and conduct general corporate governance. The position will be 15-20 hours per week and is expected to last one year. Superior Court of California, County of Tehema – Family Law Facilitator/Self-Help Attorney/Small Claims Advisor: This is a contract, professional level position that serves under the direction and authority of the Court Executive Officer. The incumbent is to provide dispute resolution services mandated by Family Code 10000-10015 which includes the development, planning, implementation, and administration of the Family Law Facilitator program providing legal services to litigants not represented by counsel; facilitates and expedites family law proceedings related to child support, spousal support, paternity establishment/disestablishment and health insurance matters. Apply for Northern District of California Trial and Appellate Criminal Justice Panels by April 7, 2017 – 2017 Applications for the Northern District of California Trial and Appellate Panels, the Attorney Development Program, and the Mentorship Program, are now open. The Criminal Justice Act Panel is a group of qualified and court-approved attorneys who are eligible for appointment by the Court to represent individuals in criminal cases who are unable for financial reasons to retain counsel. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in, and knowledge of, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, the Federal Rules of Evidence, the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, and, in the absence of unusual circumstances, shall have additional requirements seen here. For more information and application, click here.
