Family Law Attorney Needed in Castro Valley: All for the Family Legal Clinic, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit legal clinic dedicated to serving low income and middle income families in the Bay Area. There is an opportunity for either a 1099 contractor position or a full time employee position depending on desired candidate’s experience and availability. Attorney will handle family law cases, mostly related to divorce, custody, and restraining orders. California Public Utilities Commission – Administrative Law Judge (II) and (III): An Administrative Law Judge presides over hearings on formal matters that require hearing such as applications to set rates, complaints, and enforcement investigations or rulemakings to set policy; instructs parties as to their rights; issues subpoenas, administers oaths, examines witnesses, and receives documentary evidence; rules on exceptions, motions, and admissibility of evidence; hears argument, directs or permits the filing of briefs, and makes rulings prior to submission of assigned matters; consults with staff members on technical subjects; analyzes pleadings in preparation for hearings; determines the advisability of and holds prehearing conferences; analyzes and evaluates facts and law and exercises independent judgment in the preparation and issuance of reports and findings; prepares and recommends drafts of opinions, orders, and recommendations for consideration by the Commission. Learn more

Legal Services for Children – Staff Attorney – Immigrant Children’s Network: LSC seeks an attorney to represent children and youth in immigration matters.  This would include representation of children living primarily in San Francisco and Oakland as well as detained children in one of the ORR facilities in Yolo, Solano, or Contra Costa Counties.  Clients are primarily monolingual Spanish speakers.  Most clients are ages 12-21. Learn more
