East Bay Diversity Bar Coalition

Acts as a forum for other local and minority bar associations and promotes a unified position on diversity and fair access of professional and public issues.

Judicial Mentoring Project

The EBDBC also administers the award-winning Judicial Mentoring Project (JMP), which was established in 2007 to provide attorneys contemplating a career on the bench with a structured method of obtaining guidance from experienced judges about how to reach that goal.

In 2008, the Judicial Mentoring Project was selected for the American Bar Association’s Partnership Award which salutes outstanding bar association projects that seek to increase the participation and advancement of lawyers of color in the organized bar and to attract students of color to the legal profession.

To learn more about the JMP, please see the handbook. To participate as a mentor in the JMP, please complete the mentor application. To participate as a mentee, please complete the mentee application.
