October is shaping up to be another busy month. We have five standard MCLE programs on the books, complimented by our annual full day Labor and Employment Symposium and the VLSC Pro Bono Family Law Training series – which add a whopping 18 hours of MCLE credit to our calendar.
Please join the ACBA Trial Practice Section and the ACCTLA for this rescheduled program on September 30, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at the Alameda County Bar Association. This MCLE will cover the ins and outs of litigating a high profile case.
The ACBA Volunteer Legal Services Corporation (VLSC) sends our heartfelt thank you to all the supporters of our ninth year of Dine Around for Justice, a fundraising event to provide essential legal services for low-income people in Alameda County. Some of our favorite local restaurants generously agreed to donate 15% of evening food and beverage revenue on one Thursday in August to support VLSC.
This September, we have three town hall meetings, thirteen hours of MCLE credit, a Dine with a Judge lunch, a tailgate at the A’s vs Giants game, and a program dedicated to getting the most out of Social Security! It’s going to be a busy month, we look forward to seeing you at an event soon.
