Please join the ACBA Real Estate Section for this educational update on tree-related disputes and litigation. Attorney and experienced mediator Barri Kaplan Bonapart will share her experiences and expertise in tree-related disputes including the review of Oakland and Berkeley tree ordinances.

Barri Kaplan Bonapart is the owner of Bonapart & Associates, a law and mediation firm specializing in complex commercial litigation, and tree and neighbor law. Her clientele includes local businesses, tree care companies, professionals, and property owners.

Ms. Bonapart is one of the Bay Area’s most knowledgeable practitioners in the area of tree and neighbor law. She advises home owners, arborists, attorneys, and public entities regarding personal injury and property damage caused by trees, trespass, nuisance and encroachments. She represents parties in disputes about views, tree removal, threats to life and property from trees, boundaries, fences, insurance coverage and the interpretation of local tree ordinances. She has authored numerous articles and is a featured speaker nationally on tree and neighbor law.
