Kristin A. Pace is a partner at Fitzgerald, Abbott & Beardsley, chair of its Tax Practice Group, and a member of the firm's Estates and Trusts, and Business and Corporate Transactions Practice Groups. She focuses her practice on taxation as well as estate planning and estate and trust administration. Ms. Pace has presented on a variety of estate planning and taxation issues and is a member of the East Bay Estate Planning Council, the Alameda County Bar Association Trust and Estates Section, and Board President of Girls, Incorporated of Alameda County. Ms. Pace earned her LLM from New York University, her J.D from University of San Francisco School of Law, and her B.A. from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

Virginia Palmer is a partner at Wendel, Rosen, Black, and Dean, LLP and a member of the firm's Trust and Estates Practice Group. She focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, elder law, and mediating matters in her practice area. Ms. Palmer is a frequent author on estate planning issues, including estate planning for domestic partnerships, durable powers of attorney, estate planning in the context of dissolutions and end of life decisions. She has presented before a wide variety of legal, professional, and private organizations, and serves as Pro Tem Judge in Alameda County Superior Court Probate Department and a court appointed guardian ad litem for minor children and incapacitated adults.
