Judge Stephen M. Pulido of the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, is currently the presiding Judge of Family Law. Judge Pulido previously presided over Juvenile Dependency cases in both Oakland and Hayward for three years. Judge Pulido was appointed to the bench by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in December 2006. Judge Pulido was honored by East Bay Children's Law Offices for his commitment to the foster children of Alameda County during his tenure in the Juvenile Dependency Court. He holds a J.D. from UC Hastings College of Law.

Commissioner Elizabeth Hendrickson has been serving on the bench for the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, since 2003. She has an extensive background in family law issues, as she practiced in the Bay Area as a litigator and mediator for 24 years prior to her appointment to the bench. Commissioner Hendrickson is an adjunct professor teaching family law at Golden Gate University School of Law, and a member of the Center for Judicial Education and Research Family Law Curriculum Committee.

Patricia Kaplan is a licensed clinical social worker. She has served as a Child Custody Recommending Counselor at Family Court Services in Alameda County since 1989, and the Court Program Supervisor since 1994. She is a frequent presenter at conferences. She received her undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Cape Town in South Africa and completed two postgraduate internships in California.
