Many trusts and estates attorneys in Alameda County are sole practitioners or work in small law firms. However, everyone needs a network where they can ask questions, share stories, and throw around ideas with other trusts and estates practitioners. The ACBA Trusts and Estates Section is offering this new monthly forum, held every third Tuesday, to bring together trusts and estates practitioners for informal discussions and information sharing.

The first 15-30 minutes of the hour will focus on a specific topic, and the rest of the time will be open. The focus topic for October will be "Get it While You Can - Taking Advantage of the Existing $5.12 million Gift Tax Exeption in 2012.

Bring your lunch, meet some other attorneys, and join the Trusts and Estates Section in creating a big-firm infrastructure for small firm practitioners.
