This course will provide trial lawyers with everything they need to know to make sure they know how to protect their trial court record for a potential appeal. We will cover protecting your in limine rulings, making and responding to objections, offers of proof, section 402 hearings, getting exhibits admitted, requests for judicial notice, and much more.

Professor Moskovitz teaches appellate advocacy at Golden Gate University School of Law and has represented clients in civil appeals throughout California for decades. He is the author of "Winning an Appeal," now in its Fourth Edition and used by lawyers and laws students throughout the country.
