Tim Hallahan will present strategies , in a two part series, on direct examination. He will offer tips and discuss the foundation of proper direct examination techniques. Judge Dorado, a sitting Alameda County Superior Court Judge, will provide insight into the effective way to persuasively present your case. This is a great opportunity to get his insight and wisdom!

*This is part of a series. This is the second program in the series and has a practice component on October 15, 2013 in the evening at the ACBA's NEW office location: 1000 Broadway, Suite 480 in Oakland.

This is also the second of the trial series: objections, direct examination and cross-examination.

Mr. Hallahan is the director of the Stanford Law School Advocacy Skills program, a national CLE speaker and in-house trainer, and a Judicial Education Attorney at the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Judge Leo Dorado

Judge Dorado is a graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Berkeley, class of 1974. Judge Dorado has worked as an attorney in private practice, served as deputy district attorney in San Mateo and Alameda counties and presided as a municipal court judge. In 2001 he won the first-ever Judicial Distinguished Service Award from the Alameda County Bar Association.
