From First Funding to Final Cut: Advising Filmmaker Clients

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
1000 Broadway
Suite 480
Oakland CA, 94607
Registration Closes:
Everyone these days wants to make a film and technology now makes it possible to do so. But, if your clients want more than their friends and family to see their work of art, they need to take the necessary steps to make sure they are able to show it to the public.

This panel workshop will give a high-level view of what is necessary to give the film its best opportunity for success. We will review setting up the correct entity to own the film, creating a chain of title to ensure distribution, and the intellectual property concerns and pitfalls that arise in filmmaking.
