All for the Family Legal Clinic, Inc. is hiring a 1099 contractor to assist as a Family Law Attorney (50 hour monthly billable minimum commitment). This is a great learning experience for a newly barred attorney who wants to get hearing and trial experience fast, someone who can only work part time due to family commitments, or someone with legal experience who is now switching their field of law. We are a self-funded nonprofit that is committed to assisting low income/modest means families by charging on a sliding scale starting at $50/hr. For The People – Paralegal – Based at our Oakland office and reporting to the Managing Attorney, the Paralegal provides critical support to the Legal Team in their resentencing and reentry/reunification work ensuring that key legal and administrative tasks are completed accurately, thoughtfully, and in a timely manner.   For The People works with prosecutors, system leaders, and community members to reduce the number of people serving excessive sentences.
