ACBA Court Appointed Attorneys Program – The Managing Social Worker is a new position that will start the process of building out our social worker program to include work with adults charged with crimes. The Supervising Social Worker will be tasked with working with attorneys representing adult indigent defendants to help them connect with independent contractor social workers who can aid their clients’ cases. To that end, the supervising social worker will reach out to and connect with qualified social workers, and then monitor the work to ensure the social workers are performing high quality work.
